I looked at the clock this morning and saw that it was 8:40 so I rolled out of bed thinking I had slept later than usual. When I got to the kitchen, however, I discovered it was only 7:40. I’m not sure how the hour on the clock got changed since Saturday morning but obviously it did. I fixed that and got on with my day.
Seems Bill didn’t think I was going with him today and since he was going to be running all over the place doing his errands as well as visiting with his friend Dick, I decided I could put my time to better use than sitting in the car waiting for him. It also eliminated eating out for today which is good since I’ll be doing that tomorrow.
The good news is that his specialist, Eileen, had a baby boy so she got the cute blue sweater with the medical bear. Yippeeee…. That’s what I was hoping for. Bill said she whipped out the baby pictures first thing. Wish I could have seen them but…
I finished up a couple more things I need for class tomorrow, so hopefully I have that all under control now. Then I opened the box with the waffle weave towels and burp cloths. I got the cutest vintage animal baby designs the other day and I’m stitching those on the burp pads. I’ll have pictures later.

Here is Madrona hat # 18. This was knit with some of the yarn from Azlea at church. I’m working on another one with this same yarn and white stripes. Fun, fun…
I watched a reasonably cute movie last night on Netflix called “For Roseanna.” Marcello, a trattoria proprietor in the tiny village of Travento, is a man with a truly life-or-death mission. He is determined to secure his terminally ill wife's dearest wish: to be buried next to their long-deceased daughter in the local cemetery, which only has three plots left. While Marcello goes to increasingly extreme lengths to keep everyone in the village alive, well, and out of his wife's intended graveyard spot, Roseanna occupies herself with taking care of her husband's life after her death.
In the middle of the movie, Bill told me that the first episode of this season’s “Shark” was on so I paused the movie to watch that. I guess most of the new shows are starting tonight. Bill watched bits and pieces of “Dancing with the Stars.” I don’t enjoy watching bits and pieces of shows, so I don’t watch much TV. I guess that is a “man thing” to flip around the channels all night long!
