I never could get myself really going today. Before Bill got up, I read the five books of I John that the Praise Team is going to study during our down time in the second service since we have heard the sermon during the first service. Our “homework” is to read the five books in three translations, then make three observations about each chapter.
After Bill got up, I did my Monday “trash constitutional” praying I wouldn’t encounter an angry wounded bear or pit bulls or whatever. Back in the house I couldn’t get out from in front of the computer even once I got the mail done and Bill was gone. I fixed a Simply Asia Spring Noodle Bowl for lunch followed by some fresh pineapple. I read on the knitting mystery while eating lunch. I was at the part where they were ready to sniff out the culprit in the case and while there weren’t too many possibilities, I didn’t really have a clue except to know who it wasn’t since the one person appeared so obvious.
Three o’clock rolled around as I finished knitting hat #202 that I knit on yesterday when we were in the car. I took a break and finished reading the book. I was on the last page when Bill came home at 3:45. He got his hunting license so he can go bear hunting if he wants since bear season is open now. We noticed some apples on the stretch of yard off the far driveway yesterday as we drove out so the bear could easily stroll in there for food.
I was printing out some instructions when the printer ran out of one of the six colors of ink. I found the original set of ink cartridges I bought with the printer but they were out of this particular color at the time and I never went back to get it. I know that I have since bought the complete set from Wal-mart but it was nowhere to be found. I whined to Wanda since we were chatting when I was looking. I finally quit looking and finished printing in grayscale which was fine for what I was doing.
Needing a little more aggravation for the day, I proceeded to wind down a skein of yarn that was trying hard to knot up on me. I finally got that done and decided to stop for dinner. I decided I would start a movie on the computer while I ate. All I got was music and no picture. I cleaned it and still no picture. I finally changed from Real Player to InterActual Player and got it going. Don’t know what is wrong with Real Player since I use it most of the time. Dinner was Chinese takeout Bill came home with. My fortune cookie read: “Do you know that the busiest person has the largest amount of time?” Hmmm…..
With that in mind, I’m going to lollygag for the rest of the evening.
