I thank those of you who shared Clint's "final journey" with us. I hope you found inspiration and encouragement as we shared the good and bad moments over the last months until Clint found his way home to Jesus on December 3, 2004. As we journey through the next season of our lives, perhaps something I share here will help others who are also making this painful journey.
I got eight hours sleep last night for a change! The tooth felt better this morning although it still âfeelsâ if I bite on it except for soft foods. Before heading to the chiropractor this afternoon, I decided to eat an ice cream bar. Boy, was THAT the wrong thing to do! I had to rinse my mouth with warm water afterwards to calm things down again. Today was my sisterâs birthday, but with everything that has been going on, I neglected to get a birthday card mailed off to her. I called her this afternoon and we chatted for a while. The Hula Hut yarn was in todayâs mail so I got the first mini skein wound into a ball and cast on for the cowl and then it was time to head off to rehearsal. There were only 5 musicians tonight. Another one of the musicians also does the overhead and this was his week to do it. The other attendee was our sound man. Rehearsal was short and sweet. Bill wanted a couple of things from the grocery store so I stopped on my way home and took care of that. And that was my day. My schedule is clear now until Sunday morning. Yay!
