I sprang out of bed – ok, so I slowly got up – at 7:30 this morning eager to get to the embroidery machine and continue where I left off yesterday. The first thing I did today was a lace piano keyboard bookmark which you can see HERE. I have several folks for which this would be an appropriate gift. I worked on a few things that will remain secrets for now. I finally finished assembling this Dear Santa sign for Reign.

Speaking of Reign, we talked to Dawn today. She said that while the Christmas sweatshirt is big on Reign, which is the way they are wearing them these days. She has been wearing it and showing it off to all her friends. She even slept in it the first night. Peg was telling me how her daughter decided she was Dorothy from "Wizard of Oz." Peg said, "I couldnt wash her Dorothy dress because she would sleep in it and then wear it to school day after day. Finally, I had to read her the part in the book where Dorothy takes a bath and then I got the dress off of her."
I’m knitting along on another hat so I might have three by time Barbara and I go to knitting guild next Wednesday night. That will be our Christmas potluck so I have to come up a dish to take.
Time to move along and see what the rest of the night brings. I think the Agatha Christie movie I got from Netflix is one I saw earlier with a different set of actors. This one has Helen Hayes from 1985.
In all I think and say and do,
I long, O God, to honor You;
But may my highest motive be
To love the Christ who died for me. —D. De Haan
You can expect to enjoy God’s presence when you honor Him with your life.
