That’s the way the weatherman described today. Yippee…. I didn’t get to bed till one this morning as Linda came online around 11:30 and we yakked until I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I woke in the middle of the night and had to turn the electric blanket on. When I was out tonight it felt really cold even though the thermostat said 41 degrees. It’s only going to get colder over the next several days!
I got the towels and spa wrap mailed off today along with a box of things to Wanda that she can embroider for gifts, etc. Then I worked on completing everything for Linda’s Christmas box. I did state flower gold work embroidery on a sage waffle weave towel but I don’t like it that well. I ran across another design that I may do on another towel. Anyway, I did some other little projects today – a candy wrappers and drawstring bags as seen here.
I took off at 6:30 for rehearsal. I was talking with Larry H afterwards and told him I was melancholy. He asked why and I told him today is four years since I laid my “baby” to rest. He told me that he has been praying for me and that he is glad that I came though all this without becoming angry or bitter. Then as I sat here tonight writing on the journal, Josh Groban sang “You Raise Me Up.” Another tug on my heartstrings!
