I truly got a wakeup call this morning. It came at 4 a.m. A fellow with a British accent was calling about troubles with an upgrade for her knitting software. I tried to explain to him where he needed to go for help but I probably didn’t make much sense having been jarred out of a sound sleep. As far as I can determine it wasn’t a customer of mine. I looked on caller ID and it was a 1-190 prefix but I can’t find an international dialing code to match that. Of course, it could have been a cell phone.
Thankfully I was able to get back to sleep after that. When I got up again we boxed up Reign’s sweatshirt along with some things Bill wanted to send to her and got that mailed off. Then I got to work on Nancy’s angels. And I can’t find hair nor hide of that one I had leftover from the other day. I picked it up off my drying screen and put it “somewhere.” Now to figure out where “somewhere” is. I got five angels stitched out today and while they were stitching I tied in all the lose ends of the afghan. For awhile I thought the ends were multiplying. So one more Christmas item done and ready to mail. With that I’m checking out for tonight.
There is practically no activity that cannot be enhanced or replaced by knitting, if you really want to get obsessive about it.
