I forgot to mention last night that I managed to trip over my own feet two different times yesterday at home and nearly hit the floor both times. Good grief! It was one o’clock before I got myself to bed despite knowing I had to get up early this morning. I had the alarm set for 6:45 but stayed in bed till 7 and I wasn’t quite ready when Nadine arrived five minutes early.
I couldn’t believe four hours could fly by so fast but they surely did. Two of the gals completely finished their jackets. Donna got up to the point of setting the crease in her lapel. I’m ready to top stitch on the lapel. Nadine still has to sew on her lapel. By time I got home I was too pooped to work on it so I left it for tomorrow. I’ll put a link below for jacket photos, and there are some new hat photos, too.
Since tomorrow is Nadine’s birthday, I treated her to lunch today. Judy and Verna went with us again and Verna treated Judy to lunch for her birthday from last Friday. I decided to try something different today from the Weight Watcher menu so I ordered the Cajun Lime Tilapia without the spicy seasoning. It was so so to me but I’m just not a big fan of fish. It came with rice pilaf and plenty of broccoli.
After we bid Judy and Verna farewell, Nadine and I stopped into Staples and then Joann Fabrics. I actually got in and out of there without spending a dime. I was looking for a red sweatshirt for Reign but all they had in the youth sizes was pink (which I got last week), gray and black – strange colors for kids in my humble opinion, except for the pink.
By time I got home, I was really ready for a nap. Nadine napped in the car on the way home. I guess it is good that I drive as she does this fairly regularly. Is it bedtime yet?
