In the weight loss department, I’m down 8.6 pounds, so that is good news to me! Bill polished off the leftover kebob dinner from earlier this week. After he saturated it with oyster sauce, it became his. I had some lamb tonight. Three ounces are 6 points so I have to fill in with other stuff to make a filling dinner. I still have some points left to play with tonight so I’ll have some ice cream after awhile.
I’ve been at it pretty steadily today. I have now finished 18 of the 20 burp pads I bought. I’m taking 16 of them to Kim tomorrow for PRS. I’ll finish the other two and give her the last four next week. Unless I go to Knit Club on Wednesday. They are collecting things for the Abused Women’s auction so I will give some for that if I make Knit Club. There is a lot going on next week so I don’t know that I’ll want to go. We’ll see…..
I finally got Sonya’s wall hanging finished so I can give that to her tomorrow.
So I’m off to watch a movie before time to hit the sack. The alarm is set for 6:30 in the morning since I have to be at church at eight to rehearse.
Loss has the potential to cause us to shrivel or shine depending on how we embrace our sadness and His provision. – Patsy Clairmont
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. – Hebrews 4:16
