I forgot to mention that when I went out to the garage to leave last night, I discovered that all the flowers from both the Rose of Sharon bushes were gone. Eaten off clean as a whistle – by deer no doubt! We waited soooo long for the one to bloom and now they are some deer’s dinner – or midnight snack, since we didn’t see them! The neighbor’s dogs were out behind our house today. Bill went out there and spotted deer prints.
Here are some more burp pads.
Nadine called early this morning and wanted me to come and work on our jackets for next Tuesday’s “final” class. I got the strips stitched down only to discover that they were not straight on one of the sleeves! I bit the bullet and refused to rip it off. Trust me when I say that was NOT easy to do!
When I got home from Nadine’s I finished up my jacket sleeves. Now I’m ready to do the pockets. Hopefully we will just need to sew the pieces together and do the collar to finish up on Tuesday.
I had a nice lengthy chat with Sonya tonight. I have to put the binding on her wall hanging tomorrow so I can give it to her on Sunday.
