I was up a little after seven this morning. It must have been in anticipation of the shopping trip with Nadine, eh? She picked me up at ten and letting me play chauffeur, we went to Port Orchard. After a trip into the bank, we went to Joann Fabrics and got the rest of what we need for the upcoming class. However, when I got home I realized that I didn’t get what I need for the lining of the jacket. DUH… We stopped into Wal-mart so I could get some of the large envelopes for the cards I make. Of course, I had to go around to the fabric department where I found some real cute “princess” theme fabric which I bought to make something for Reign. She had a cute quilt on her bed so I’ll go for a wall hanging. AND as I looked at fabric, all of a sudden my eyes fell upon butterflies. YES, it is the same butterfly fabric I just ordered online. Bah humbug!!!
We stopped into a small hometown café and had clam chowder, salad and bread for lunch. Ok, it was after one by then and we were both hungry. When I got home I messed around with the fabric and getting things together for the class. Nadine will be gone Sept 6-10, so we need to have everything ready to go from her house for the class on the 11th.
I’m having some pain in my right knee when I walk. Just what I need, right? The extra weight is no doubt adding to the problem. After talking to Nadine and Wanda today, I’ve decided I need a Google system for finding things in my house. If I note where things are when I run across them…. But as Wanda said, I’d probably lose the page!
