Hi Diane. Was finally able to get out cyberwalking again and wanted to check on you and see what you were up to ...
Hi Carol, I get a "lump in my chest" reading your thoughts that you share .. thanks for reminding us how life is a

I didn’t get to bed until after midnight and then I woke early. Go figure….. I went back to sleep for awhile and when I got up, it was great fixing coffee in a pot that worked. I spent most of the day catching up on stuff. I took a break and finished reading “Died in the Wool.”
I talked to one of my knitting friends in Minnesota. Her one year old grandson was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis this afternoon. His dad was unable to rouse him from a nap this afternoon. The child had a temperature this morning and was having seizures somewhere along the way. So we don’t know what is going on there.
I called Deanna and discovered she was working today. Seems that one of their employees crushed her arm somehow and Deanna is working some extra days until she can resume work. Wanda has her new four needle Janome embroidery machine so she was having fun working with that today. Nadine and I made a “date” to go to Joann Fabrics Saturday afternoon and get whatever we need for the jacket class that starts September 11. She will be gone to Montana visiting her sister from September 6-10 so she needs to have everything ready to go before she leaves on her trip.
Nadine told me about the Ellie “do” that I missed on Monday. Deanna, Mary, Carol V., Patti, and Kathy joined Ellie for the day. Nadine arrived later as did Susie. George left before everyone arrived, taking their new 32’ motor home to get something fixed that wasn’t working. When he got home he asked Patti to move her car and he thought he could make it in. But he hit Deanna’s car, putting a serious crimp in her fender. Oops!
I finally talked to Ellie. She told me about the “do.” When I inquired after George she told me his kidneys aren’t working right and he has other heart problems and the doctor has told him to get his affairs in order. Oh my….. She finally mentioned the episode with the motor home. And she said George wants to take a trip in the motor home September 15th to drive to Eastern Washington. In light of what the doctor says, she is leery of heading out on a journey like that.
I talked to Debi tonight. She is the other keyboard player from church. I told her I may or may not be there tomorrow night as I’m still recuperating from our “vacation.” I could sure go for a nice massage about now!
When I read Doris’ email I discovered she and her husband were both sick yesterday and she passed out in the bathroom at five this morning! And I was only gone for FOUR days! Yikes…. I’m off to watch a movie and unwind. I watched one the other night before we left called “Here on Earth” and it was a tearjerker.
Reflect on how your faith compares to Moses' faith. Remember that he was frightened and doubtful about what was going to happen. Have you ever felt that way? Remember that he argued with God about the situation. How about you? Remember that he had reassurance from God that He was in control and knew not only what the current situation was but also knew what the outcome would be. Does God do the same for you? And most of all, remember, that even though he lacked faith in himself and in the situation, Moses did not lack faith in God. He stepped out on faith, believing that what God had said to him was true. What about you?
