Eek! I got up at 7:15 and couldn’t get an internet connection. The signal strength from the router, usually only low at best, was none! I did all the things it said to do to repair and still no signal. Before total panic set in I decided to reboot the computer and thankfully that cured the problem.
We talked to Dawn last night. Last Saturday Reign got her hair cut to donate for wigs. Then she wanted to go to lunch so they did that. It was only later that they realized Dawn didn’t go to the re-scheduled ballet recital. Oops! I finished knitting the hat I had been working on since Sunday and then we watched “The Bachelor” during which time I knit on another 2x2 ribbed hat.
My friend Peg in Colorado was updating me today on her daughter Becky who recently moved to another state. It was one of those moves to escape from what was going on where she was. However, she is now all excited with her job and “in love.” I was afraid she latched onto a loser but Peg said he is in the Air Force and is on the flight crew of Air Force One with the President. Wow! At least he shouldn’t have any skeletons in his closet as I’m sure he must have undergone close scrutiny for the job.
I’m waiting to hear from Barbara. Last night she wrote: Tuesday morning I start my computer Class for Seniors at Gig Harbor TCC. The afternoon excitement is getting my washing machine repaired. Oh, the exciting life of the single, retired librarian. My exciting life today was my monthly visit to the chiropractor. He said he was closed for a week or so from the snow. Bill rode into Key Center with me so we went to the El Sombrero for lunch. Back home I checked email and then went back to try out my machine.
I finished up the things I want to send for baby Paige so they are ready to go out in tomorrow’s mail. Here’s some of what I’m sending.
Now I need to finish up the homework for tomorrow’s Bible study before bedtime rolls around.
Before you rush to judge another person, ask yourself whether you would be able to endure the same standard.
Today, Lord, give me strength to replace judgment with mercy.
